Backups

ServerGrade stores backups of all accounts on all servers on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

These regular backups are essential. They allow us to quickly restore all of your data including files, databases, and email accounts in the unlikely event of a hard disk failing.

While we use server-grade components in all our systems, hard disks and other hardware does occasionally fail due to nothing more than use.

 Although we do make these backups, you should always have your own. ServerGrade is a hosting service rather than a file backup service and should be treated as such.

If you require a backup of your files this can be done through your cPanel control panel under the "Backups" option. This facility is a way to download a full and complete backup of your files and settings including your databases. You can restore a previous version of your site from your own backups as well on the cPanel backups page.
