Removing a Sub-Domain Redirect in cPanel Flash Tutorial

Sub-Domains on your website display the pages from within the directory under your public_html folder named the same as your sub-domain name by default. This makes it easy to locate and edit the sub-domain files from within your main account.

Depending on your website folder structure you may have chosen to get the pages from a different folder using a sub-domain redirect. If you wish to once again have the sub-domain retrieve pages from the default directory, or wish to remove an old redirect so you can implement a different one, deleting the sub-domain redirect is needed.

The following flash tutorial guides you through Removing a Sub-Domain Redirect in cPanel control panel.

See further cPanel Flash tutorials or our support pages for more information. The answers to general and pre-purchase questions can be seen in our FAQ.

Please contact us if you have a question that is not answered on our site.
